Wat is molybdeen?

Molybdeen is een natuurlijk voorkomend element. Door deze eigenschap is het veilig en gezond in gebruik.

Dit element, dat de PowerSteel-serie zijn stevigheid geeft, wordt ook gebruikt als een speciale stof die zorgt voor hoge duurzaamheid en dient als roest- en corrosieremmer in zeeschepen, ruimteschepen en vergelijkbare industrieën.

Geschikt voor gebruik op alle kookplaten, inclusief inductie.

  • Bovenste theepot: 1,05 L

  • Onderste theepot: 2,5 L

Eigenschappen

  • De extra corrosiebestendigheid die molybdeen biedt, is een van de meest onderscheidende kenmerken van roestvrij staal van kwaliteit 316.

  • De producten in de PowerSteel-familie bevatten 18/12 chroom-nikkel en 2% molybdeen.

  • Roestvrij staal 316 wordt dankzij molybdeen beter bestand tegen hoge temperaturen.

  • Het biedt meer duurzaamheid in vergelijking met kwaliteit 304.

  • 18 verwijst naar het chroomgehalte in roestvrij staal (bijv. 18% chroom).

  • 12 verwijst naar het nikkelgehalte (bijv. 12% nikkel). Een hoger percentage betekent een hogere corrosiebestendigheid.

  • De PowerSteel- en 3 Ply-familie zijn geschikt voor gebruik op inductiekookplaten.
