Meva Global B.V. takes your privacy seriously. We therefore process only the data we need to provide and improve our services, and we handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.
This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Meva Global B.V. The effective date of these terms is July 8, 2018; upon the publication of a new version, all previous versions become invalid. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect your data against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you have provided to us.

E-commerce software
Shopify
Our online store was developed using Shopify software. Personal data that you provide to us for the purpose of our services will be shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose. Under the agreement we have with them, Shopify is obligated to implement appropriate security measures. These security measures include the use of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Regular backups are performed to prevent data loss.
Web Hosting
We use web hosting services provided by Shopify. Shopifyprocesses personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata regarding the use of the services. This metadata does not constitute personal data. Shopifyhas implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Shopifyis bound by a confidentiality agreement.
We use Vimexx’s services for our regular business email communication. This provider has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. They do not have access to our inbox, and we treat all our email communication as confidential.
Payment processors
Mollie
We use the Mollie platform to process (part of) the payments in our online store. Mollie processes your name, address, and city of residence, as well as your payment details, such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in that context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. In the event of a request for deferred payment (credit facility), Mollie shares personal data and information regarding your financial position with credit bureaus. All the safeguards mentioned above regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the components of Mollie’s services for which it engages third parties. Mollie does not retain your data for longer than permitted by legal timeframes.
Reviews on Trustpilot
We collect reviews via the Trustpilot platform. If you leave a review via Trustpilot, you are required to provide a name and email address. Trustpilot shares this information with us so that we can link the review to your order. Trustpilot also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, Trustpilot may contact you to ask for clarification regarding your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with Trustpilot. They use this information solely for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. Trustpilot has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.
Trustpilot reserves the right to engage third parties to provide its services, and we have given Trustpilot permission to do so. All of the safeguards mentioned above regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of the service for which Trustpilot engages third parties.
Shipping and logistics
PostNL
When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out these deliveries. Purpose of data processing
General purpose of processing
We use your data exclusively for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time—other than at your request—we will explicitly ask for your consent. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound by confidentiality obligations under the agreement between them and us, or by an oath or legal obligation.
Automatically Collected Data
Data automatically collected by our website is processed for the purpose of further improving our services. This data (such as your IP address, web browser, and operating system) does not constitute personal data.
Cooperation in tax and criminal investigations
In certain cases, Meva Global B.V. may be required by law to share your data in connection with government-led tax or criminal investigations. In such cases, we are compelled to share your data, but we will oppose this to the extent permitted by law.
Retention Periods We retain your data for as long as you are a client of ours. This means that we retain your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you notify us of this, we will also consider it a request to be forgotten. Due to applicable administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices containing your (personal) data; we will therefore retain this data for as long as the applicable retention period applies. However, employees will no longer have access to your client profile or documents we have created in connection with your assignment.
Your Rights
Under applicable Dutch and European law, as a data subject, you have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. Below, we explain what these rights are and how you can exercise them.
In principle, to prevent misuse, we will only send copies of your data to the email address we already have on file for you. If you wish to receive the data at a different email address or, for example, by mail, we will ask you to verify your identity. We maintain a record of processed requests; in the case of a right-to-be-forgotten request, we process anonymized data. All copies and extracts of data are provided in the machine-readable data format we use within our systems.
You have the right at any time to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data in an improper manner.
Right of Access
You always have the right to access the data we process (or have processed) that relates to you or can be traced back to you. You may submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data to the email address we have on file, along with a list of the processors who hold this data, specifying the category under which we have stored this data.

You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the email address on file that the data has been corrected.

You may submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the email address on file with us stating that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.
Right to Data Portability
You always have the right to have the data we process (or have processed) that relates to you or can be traced back to you transferred to another party. You may submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies of all data about you that we have processed or that has been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties to the email address we have on file. In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue providing our services in such a case, as the secure linking of data files can no longer be guaranteed.
Right to Object and Other Rights
In certain cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Meva Global B.V. If you object, we will immediately cease processing your data pending the resolution of your objection. If your objection is valid, we will provide you with copies of the data we process (or have processed) and will permanently cease processing thereafter.
You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in a manner that would trigger this right. If you believe this is the case, please contact our privacy officer.
